Privacy Policy for HealthAware

Last updated: 18 August 2026

The short version: your logs stay on your device. There is no account, no server, and nothing is uploaded to us.

HealthAware (“the App”) is a personal health and fitness tracking app for logging calorie, exercise, sleep, and habit information.

Information we collect

HealthAware collects information you enter directly in the app, including:

We do not collect this information ourselves. It is stored on your device and we have no access to it.

How we use information

Your data is used only to provide app features, including:

Data storage

Notifications

If you enable habit reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are delivered by iOS itself. No reminder content is sent to us or to any third party, and no notification data leaves your device.

Camera and photos

If you use the meal photo assist feature, the App can take a photo with your camera or let you choose one from your photo library. These photos are held temporarily on your device so you can view them and share them yourself. They are not added to your logs, and they are not uploaded to us.

The App asks for camera access only when you use this feature. You can decline, or revoke access later in iOS Settings, and the rest of the App will continue to work.

On-device AI advice

On supported iPhones, the App can write advice about your own logs using Apple’s built-in on-device model. This runs entirely on your iPhone:

Advice is general guidance drawn from what you logged. It is not medical advice and is not a diagnosis.

AI assistant features (clipboard export)

Some optional features prepare a text summary of your data — for example a nutrition question or a health summary — and copy it to your clipboard so you can paste it into an AI chatbot of your choosing. The meal photo assist feature works the same way: it prepares a text prompt for you to paste, and you choose whether to share the photo itself alongside it.

Data sharing

Third-party services

HealthAware does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Your choices

Children’s privacy

HealthAware is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
